The Shat Was In Town

Well Shatner came out to the local theater this weakend so my buddies Dylan, Sean and I decided to go out and see him. The tickets for The Wrath Of Kahn were sold out so we saw the 3d version of Into Darkness instead. I thought the 3d actually worked well in this movie. Had alot of fun but I’m dragging my ass this morning. I’ll feel better once I get some more beer into me later tonight.

I saw the new Star Trek movie last night and enjoyed it. I would say it’s just as good as the last one. Unlike a few other extreme kneejerk reactions calling it a remake of TWOK it’s nothing like that at all. Completly different stories.

Anyway. I realized I forgot one important thing. Impulse engines, so I added them to the belly.

I’ve started to work out the shape of the hull. I’ve also resized it to around 60 meters I might up to 80 meters. Ignore the possition of the engine it hasn’t been moved into place yet. I’m really happy with the way it’s turned out so far.

I Love House Work Part 26

Decided to work on the bedroom more so I can get an idea of what I want to do with it. I’ve already pulled up the old carpet and started to put primer on the walls.

Anyway. Here’s more work done on the dresser. I probably won’t work on this more untill I lock down what I want to do with the room.

I’ve found the color of the walls. It’s called Robin Hood Green. I also changed the trim around the floor. I’m also gonna install laminate flooring. I thought about hardwood but laminate is cheaper and looks just as good. Only problem is I’m not sure what direction it should go in. The floor texture is temp for now.

Here is another look with the floor in another direction and I added the second table. My bed will go between the two tables. I’ve already picked out the bed that I would like to have but I won’t get it till the room is finished.
