Well Gizmo appears to be on the road to recovery and doing very well. The vet let me finally get him groomed. So here’s my boy. In his right eye you can still see the damage but it doesn’t seem to be bothering him.

While working on this ship I realised there is no photon torpedoe tube. So I added one. I also finished the textures for the impulse engine. In the last pic you can see some mesh errors around the windows, I’ve fixed those…..I think. 🙂

While screwing around on the internet I found these two pics fromt the new (I guess I’ll call it a movie) movie. It looks like they haven’t deviated too much from the look of Freddy but as I understand it the Freddy make-up is more realistic looking then the actual movies. I just don’t know if Haley will be able to pull it off. England had a specific body language that really worked for Freddy. I also didn’t know that it’s being filmed in Chicago. Since The Dark Knight we must be the place to go.

Since I finished the Salamonster a few months ago I figured I should get around to doing an image with it. And here it is in two flavors. A standard image and a calender page. There are about 36 layers used in the final compposite of this image. This could be a new record for me.

The Mummy Returns **
Here we are July 16, the 40th anniversery of what I consider the single most important thing mankind has ever done. Nasa sent Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins into space to land on the moon and return to Earth. That in my book is cool. Sadly I have a feeling this will go mostly unnoticed by the American media since it dosn’t involve an untalented dead drug addict. I also hate to say it but it only reminds me how far NASA has fallen. Those in charge appear more concerned about keeping their jobs than doing something worth doing. HELLO! CAN WE GET BACK TO THE MOON ALREADY.
I really am not much for words and if I was was it would probably just turn into NASA bashing. So I’ll let President Kennedy finish for me.
We choose to go to the moon.
