  1. I’ve never seen Clash of the Titans. However, I have to say what kind of f*d up idiot feels that Total Recall needs to be redone? It’s a classic. And the miniatures, matte paintings and makeup effects are friggin’ fantastic. One great thing about Total Recall is that it was the last big Sci-Fi movie done before the CGI age. Whoever decided that needs remade can suck my balls also. 😦

  2. Clash of the Titans is a little goofy but it doesn’t stop it from being a fun movie. Last of the great Ray Harryhausen stop action animated movies.

I liked how Total Recall was just handed the oscar because no other movie that year measured up, I don’t think any other movie was even nominated.

The poor guy who made this decision is gonna have an awfully full mouth. 🙂

  3. I’ll have to get Clash of the Titans from Netflix. I’ve heard of it but, for some reason, I’ve never seen it.

As far as Total Recall, it’s still “In Development.” That’s a good sign. If a movie is going to die, that’s usually when it happens. Hopefully someone will realize that’s stupid to release a remake of one of the best Sci-Fi movies of all time, especially just 21 years after the original was released.

  4. I watched Clash of the Titans last night. You’re right, it’s a lot of fun. I love the old Ray Harryhausen stop motion. Nobody did it like him. Anybody who thinks that film needs remade needs their head examined. I doubt anything they could do today could possibly top it story wise. Probably the only reason they want to do it is to try to make everything look new and “real” with CGI (even though most of us who do CGI can spot the CG work in the movies.) I’ve never found that a sufficient reason to remake a movie.

    • I’m always amazed at how he can get his animations and the background plate to interact it’s cool stuff.
I just watched this and Jason and The Argonaughts a few days ago. Just incase you didn’t know that is the movie that Star Trek Nemesis got the name Argo from for that new shuttle. I figure you probaly already know that but you know for sure.:)

      • Nope, didn’t know that. I’ll have to check out Jason and the Argonaughts next. That’s another one I’ve heard of but never seen.
